Allies
The galaxy is a big place and full of bad people. It becomes much harder to live on the Edge of the Empire without relationships and a community of your own. These connections could be what tips the scales in your favour in the wilds of the Outer Rim or even in the Core Worlds. They say "it's all who you know," but really in this galaxy it comes down to "it's all who you can trust".
Allies in this campaign will be notable NPCs who ultimately become part of your story. These could be predetermined based on the story or throw a lucky roll of the dice. Either way, these people will be there, sometimes when you need them the most, to help where they can - never for free of course.
Allies: NPCs with specific skills or resources which the party can use on demand. Like any relationship, expectations need to be managed and sometimes players will have to give if they are going to want to take.
RACE: Human (Corellian)
PROFESSION: Pilot
LOCATION: Based out of Port Boomer
BACKGROUND: Major (Ret'd) Rogan Alder is the former Commander of the 42nd Fast Attack Squadron based out of Coronet City. The 42nd are by far one of the most decorated and revered combat Squadrons in the Core Worlds. Unfortunately, the Imperial influence over Corellia saw them eventually forced into retirement. Rogan and his fellow wingmen were slowly withering away in cantinas until news of Bren Novar's peril in the reaches of Hosnian Prime. They managed to 'secure' a Squadron of E-Wings from CORSEC, making them outlaws now themselves, and ran to the rescue of their former comrade. They are loyal to Novar and willing to support his cause so long as it aligns with their values. As they also have nowhere else to go given their recent notoriety, the paradise of Port Boomer seems like as good a place as any.
NAME: Silver Squadron (formerly 42nd Fast Attack Squadron)
RACE: Humans (Corellian)
PROFESSION: Pilots
LOCATION: Based out of Port Boomer
BACKGROUND: The Fighting 42nd is a famous CORSEC Fighter Squadron charged with the defence of Corellian space. When the Imperial rule tightened on the planet, they were replaced by an Imperial Wings and relegate to airshows and other PR moments to keep up appearances. Anyone within CORSEC knew that the 42nd's days of fighting pirates and raiders was gone. It wasn't until a young CORSEC pilot, Kell Jesser, shook them out of their whiskey induced stupor with a call to battle. They are flying Mk.IV E-Wings, standard issue for CORSEC pilots. There had recently been 'acquired' by the former pilots and their resident mechanic, Ferrous, had the black boxes removed. They are currently based out of Port Boomer and willing to support Bren as he needs. They also lifted an older H-Wing which they use for gunboat and flak support.

He joined the Alliance shortly after leaving Lorrd following a true with the Argazdans which would've left him and a few of his team members being handed over as recompense for the damage they caused. le Trenne is a no nonsense kind of leader and vastly respected by his team.

She is widely respected and known to deliver a swift kick to the gut to anyone who stares too long. Despite her age and appearance, there is not a single member of the Espers who doubts her abilities or her leadership.

NAME: Castor Bois
RACE: Drall
PROFESSION: Arms Dealer and Provisioner
LOCATION: Selvaris Trade Station (owner & operator)
BACKGROUND: Not much is yet known about this enterprising Drall. After seemingly toying with Malcolm during a negotiating the Drall eventually came around and cooperated with the crew. The Drall's resources appear to be vast, as his initial stores in the back room of the station seemed to dwarf even those of an Imperial Garrison. Time will tell how useful this connection can be. Castor's name and contact information were obtained after exchanging a costly Starstrike Heavy Blaster Pistol to the curious Drall.
NAME: Dr. Trec Quee
RACE: Gungan
PROFESSION: Doctor/Sawbones
LOCATION: Hosnian Prime Klessian Ward
BACKGROUND: Doctor Trec Quee is a particularly interesting individual and embodies the definition of 'sawbone' - a doctor who interprets their oath a little differently and operates outside the regulations of the Imperial College of Physicians. Quee provides medical services to those who would like few questions asked and are willing to pay a premium. That being said, he isn't evil or exploits his extensive knowledge of medicine to actively torture of harm people. Quee's gambit is his constant struggle to balance between a desire for credits and respecting his oath as a doctor. In the circumstances of the party, Quee realized quite quickly who Isar Kinnal was and then had no problem injecting and overdosing the Clawdite to a deluge of drugs and hallucinogens to get what they needed. Quee was quite intrigued by the party as they are a different flavour from his usual stitches and blaster wound treatments he does to lowly street thugs.
NAME: Dia Suvan
RACE: Human (Centerpoint Station)
PROFESSION: Rebel Alliance Saboteur
LOCATION: KIA
NAME: "The Benefactor"
RACE: Unknown
PROFESSION: Unknown
LOCATION: Unknown
BACKGROUND: Little is known about the benefactor. It is assumed it is a man due to the personas he embodies when speaking to you but that is still a wild speculation. The benefactor has deemed your intentions to be temporarily aligned with his and has provided an investment of information into the party. Time will tell if the benefactor ends up being an ally or an adversary.
NAME: Bella Tarwin
RACE: Selonian
PROFESSION: Slicer and Intrusian Specialist
LOCATION: Hosnian Prime Market Wards
BACKGROUND: Bella Tarwin was a blessing in disguise. Recommended as a quality slicer by Obbob, Tarwin has proved her worth and justified her expensive price tag. Her calm demeanour, relaxed attitude, and militaristic tact screams of prior military or para-military training but the Selonian has been tight-lipped on anything outside of the Lexillon Tower Heist. She is currently less than impressed with the party's own skulduggery skills but was pleasantry surprised at Bren Novar's deft piloting of the massive Light Freighter to gain entry to the tower.
NAME: Obbob Tooba
RACE: Ortolan
PROFESSION: Smuggler and Racketeer
LOCATION: Hosnian Prime Presinium Spaceport
BACKGROUND: This clever Ortolan played the kind old man until Bren Novar tried to sneak a hot rod past his checkpoint. His disguise fell away and a coy little entrepreneur appeared in his place. Obbob has been running a smuggling racket for years on the planet and is able to get things in and out of the planet in an 'expedient' manner for his clients. He is well connected within the city as many of the elite owe him a great debt as he has assisted them many times in the past. Rather than calling in that debt to live a luxurious life, Obbob continues to work the late shift at the spaceport and holds the city's elite at a stalemate which they hate but cannot live without.

NAME: Dia Suvan
RACE: Human (Centerpoint Station)
PROFESSION: Rebel Alliance Saboteur
LOCATION: KIA
KILLED IN ACTION DURING THE BATTLE OF HOTH
BACKGROUND: Dia Suvan is the only sympathetic member of the Alliance's "Noble Squad" to the party. After befriending them in the mines of Kessel on a covert Rebel recruiting mission, Dia assisted with their escape. Unfortunately it was a costly mission for the Rebels and they suffered massive casualties. The rest of the members of Noble Squad had difficulties letting their friends go and resented the others for the deaths of their peers. Dia, realizing it was well beyond the party's control and was in fact the Imperials who were to blame, advocated for the party substantially. It is unknown where Noble Squad is at this point in time. Exeden Virai, the leader of the Squad, sold the party's location on the Demeter to the Hutt Bounty Hunters in an effort to recup some of their losses.NAME: "The Benefactor"
